Do I need a weapons license?
No. From 18 a valid ID card or passport is enough. No weapons license is required.
From what age can I participate?
Regularly from 18. Valid ID is mandatory.
Which firearms can I try?
Depending on availability, including: Sport pistol, Service pistol, Magnum revolver, Shotgun, Lever-action rifle, AR15, Semi-automatic rifles, Military-style rifle.
Is the range indoor or outdoor?
Our range in Philippsburg is partially open, not climate-controlled and usable in all weather. Please bring suitable clothing.
Is protective equipment provided?
Yes. Eye and ear protection are provided by us.
Can I buy extra ammunition?
Yes, extra ammunition can be purchased on site if needed.
Can spectators come along?
Yes. Companions may follow the session from the designated spectator area; joining the shooting spontaneously is not possible.
Can I take photos or videos?
Photos and videos are possible after prior consultation with the trainer team.
Are gift vouchers available?
Yes, gift vouchers for introductory shooting can be obtained through PAA Shooting Academy.
How do I get to the range?
Parking is available. From public transport it is about a 15-minute walk.
Can we book exclusively as a group?
Yes, exclusive booking is possible from 3 people. There is no group discount.
Are there other locations?
PAA Shooting Academy also offers introductory shooting in Regensburg, Munich and other places on request.
In which language is training conducted?
Safety briefing and guidance are provided in German and English.

Who is behind this offer?
Michael Paa and his team run the sessions. His experience in the firearms sector dates back to 2009; PAA Shooting Academy was founded in 2015.
